Gentle Touch Acupuncture
The Gentle Touch That Heals So Much
Quinci Sprague has been licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine since 1996 and is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
She received her Master of Acupuncture degree from New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) in Watertown, the oldest school of acupuncture in the country and a leader in the field of traditional Asian medicine. Having served in different roles as a member of NESA's administration for eleven years, she has a unique understanding and historical perspective of acupuncture education and its rapid growth over the last decade.
Quinci is a fully trained shiatsu practitioner, nationally certified since 1992 by the American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia. Her years of "hands-on" experience as a shiatsu practitioner provide a strong foundation for her work as an acupuncturist.
She employs traditional styles of acupuncture originating from both China and Japan, and may incorporate shiatsu techniques when appropriate. Quinci has experience in treating a variety of conditions, including but not limited to acute and chronic pain (neck, back, shoulder, hip, heel, elbow, etc.), digestive problems, headaches (tension, migraine, cluster), urinary incontinence, menstrual irregularities, chronic fatigue syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome and anxiety.
She uses only sterile, disposable needles in providing her gentle, relaxing and rejuvenating treatments.
